Hi there. I never know what to say on these kind of pages. I mean, you don't really know me, I don't really know you ... I'm not going to tell you too much about myself, because, well ... we don't really know each other.

Here's the basics:
I'm Australian, in my late 30s. I'm a writer - (check out my work here) - and a journalist. I'm gay. My partner is American, living in the Midwest, so I guess we qualify as members of that unique phenomenon of the internet age - the long-distance relationship.

I have a cat. He's black. He's nuts.
